Today I'll run through what’s in my sound-mixing bag. Not the specifics of the equipment as such (if you’re interested in that please head to our Gear List page) but the extras - the little things that can make the day easier and the sound better. Labeling Cables
So I mentioned we have a ton of cables here at Space Cow HQ. It’s hard to keep track of them all and so we try to keep them all labeled with our contact information. When purchasing new cables we have them pre-labeled. They tend to use clear heat shrink tubing over a black and white label. This is easy to do when one end of the cable hasn’t yet been completed. Gear and Bag Tags
Here at Space Cow we think it’s paramount that all our sound and teleprompter equipment is clearly identifiable and well labeled - for all the obvious reasons. Last year, Space Cow CEO and Founder Matt Israel came up with an ingenious way to tag all of our cases and bags – with dog tags!
